The children of Nicaragua love baseball. From the northern department of Matagalpa to the South Atlantic Autonomous Region, where there is a field, a stick and a makeshift ball, you will find a baseball game. Many young girls and boys could use an old mit or baseball, and if you happen to have one laying around that isn't being used please consider donating it to APS and we'll be sure they find an appreciative new owner.
Baseball equipment isn't all that might be wanted in the communities in which we work. Let us know if you have an undesired want, and we will try to find a Nicaraguan individual or community that will be able to use it.
